The OATA Agricultural Educator Relief Fund is designed to assist individual OATA active members during a time of personal crisis or need. The fund is made possible by the support of private donors.  In the case of a deceased OATA active member, the surviving spouse or dependent(s) may receive the one-time assistance stipend. In extreme situations, such as the progression of a catastrophic illness, the same OATA member may receive one additional stipend from this fund, with the second stipend granted at least 12 months after the initial stipend. 

Applications must be submitted to OATA from a current member and/or on behalf of a OATA current member. There is no deadline for submitting applications for this program. Applications should be submitted at the time of the need. Complete details are included in the application form.

The officer team of the OATA will review all applications. Upon approval, stipends will be sent directly to the OATA active member.
